About Woyale
我押了 (wǒ yā le) is Mandarin for “I placed a bet”. Woyale covers what comes after that.
Woyale started as a place to bet on Ethereum, with provably fair games and pools that players ran themselves. The site you're reading now is a guide, not a betting site. It covers the questions people ask once the bet is placed: was the result fair, how do I get my money out, is this legal where I live, and what do I owe the IRS.
What we do
- Explain how provably fair games work, and give you a verifier that runs in your browser.
- Walk through deposits, withdrawals, networks and fees, with worked numbers.
- Track sports betting law in all 50 states and DC, with the regulator and sources on every page.
- Explain how US tax treats crypto winnings and losses.
What we don't do
We don't take bets. We don't take payment from sportsbooks, casinos or exchanges, and there are no affiliate links on this site. We don't recommend offshore crypto sportsbooks: none of them hold a US state license, and we say so wherever it matters.
Nothing here is legal or tax advice. When your situation has real money or legal risk attached, talk to a licensed attorney or a CPA.
How we check facts
Every guide and state page lists its sources and the date it was last checked. We work from primary sources where they exist: state regulators, statutes, IRS publications and court opinions. Read more in how we research.
If betting stops being fun
You must be 21 or older to bet in most US states. If gambling is causing you problems, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER for free, confidential help, 24 hours a day.
