Quick answers
Is Woyale a sportsbook?
No. We don’t take bets, hold funds or accept money from sportsbooks. We explain how crypto betting works after you place a bet.
What does “provably fair” mean?
The site commits to a secret server seed by showing you its hash before you bet. After the bet it reveals the seed. If the seed hashes to the same value and recomputes your result, the outcome wasn’t changed after the fact.
Are crypto gambling winnings taxable in the US?
Yes. The IRS treats gambling winnings as taxable income, including prizes paid in property such as crypto, valued in dollars when you receive them. Selling or swapping that crypto later is a separate taxable event.
Is betting with crypto legal in the US?
Sports betting is legal only through state-licensed operators in states that allow it. Offshore crypto sportsbooks hold no US state license. Our state guides explain what that means where you live.
